1.	1975	The foundation stone of Kendriya Vidyalaya Singrauli was laid on the 8th of August in the year 1975. It comes under project area (Northern Coalfields Limited, Sidhi (MP)). The school started with approximately 300 students up to class VII, with just 8 to 10 teachers. At that time it was the only Vidyalaya in the area. Slowly the school bloomed up to class XII.
